Yes, in order to get into the program you must complete or have completed either the GRE, GMAT or MATs. If you are applying to late to take your GREs or MATs, you can apply to the program as Post Baccalaureate, this allows you to take four classes without having to go through the official acceptance process (letters of recommendation, GRE's and such), though you do still have to fill out an application. If you are an undergrad in another program who wants to take an undergrad course, you can apply as a Transient Student.

In all cases, prospective students must fill out the The Texas Common Application here: https://www.applytexas.org/adappc/gen/c_start.WBX

It's also strongly recommended that you speak to Dr. Bishop (pbishop@uh.edu, 281-433-4160) or a graduate assistant (futuresga@uh.edu) before applying. As Futures is an interdisciplinary program as well as going through some changes at the moment (2008), it's the best way to get the most accurate, up to date info.

The program only offers graduate degrees (Master's of Technology) though the program is starting to offer individual undergrad courses.

Below is the official admissions info from the University. A good person to speak with about admission details is Tiffany Roosa who is the graduate advisor for the Futures program -- troosa@uh.edu.
